Class Participation Waiver & Release

I understand that participating in a Willow and Whisk class (“Class”) involves certain risks. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Using kitchen appliances (mixers, processors, melting pots) or crafting tools (glue guns, scissors, sewing machines, fabric cutters) and materials like paints, glue, sealants, and floral preservatives.
   
• Potential injuries such as burns, cuts, allergic reactions, skin irritation, or other accidents.
   
• Illness, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions on the premises (“Premises”).
   

I understand that these risks can result from my own actions, the actions of others, the condition of the Premises, or even the negligence of Willow and Whisk instructors and staff. There may also be risks we cannot foresee.

I voluntarily accept full responsibility for these risks, as well as any loss, damage, or injury that may happen while participating in the Class. If I ever feel unsafe, I agree to stop participating immediately or alert an Instructor.

I release Willow and Whisk Food and Arts Academy, its instructors, staff, volunteers, and the owners/managers of the Premises (collectively “Released Parties”) from any claims or liability arising from:

• My participation in the Class
   
• Being present on the Premises
   
• The ordinary negligence of the Released Parties
   

I understand that our classes may include common food allergens like nuts, wheat, eggs, or dairy. Adjustments for allergies cannot be made during class. Our kitchen is not inspected or regulated by any government agency.

In case of an accident, injury, or medical emergency, I authorize the instructors to seek medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I am fully responsible for any associated costs and agree not to hold the Released Parties responsible for them.

I understand that Willow and Whisk may take photos or videos during the Class for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, including social media, websites, flyers, or online classes.

• Online classes may also broadcast portions of in-person classes.
   
• By participating, I consent to my image, voice, or work being used.
   

I waive any rights to compensation or claims regarding the use of these materials. If I prefer not to be photographed or recorded, I will notify the Instructor.

If the participant is under 18, I, as the parent or legal guardian, agree to these terms on behalf of the minor and accept all responsibilities outlined above.
